Job Description

The Leukaemia Foundation is seeking a highly organised and proactive Office and Accommodation Coordinator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our office and patient accommodation services.

This role plays a key part in ensuring our facilities are welcoming, well-coordinated, and operating efficiently to support patients, carers and families accessing our services.

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Accommodation Coordinator you will provide a mix of administration, accommodation coordination and onsite support across office and residential facilities.

You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and residents, ensuring a high standard of service while coordinating bookings, facility operations and compliance activities.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide front-of-house and general administrative support, including reception and visitor coordination
  • Manage accommodation bookings, allocations and check-in/check-out processes
  • Provide administrative support with Patient Assisted Travel Scheme (PATS) and associated administrative systems, ensuring accurate processing, record management and coordination.
  • Ensure accommodation facilities are clean, maintained and ready for occupancy
  • Coordinate onsite contractors, maintenance requests and facility requirements
  • Support WHS activities, incident reporting and compliance tracking
  • Conduct routine inspections and support site safety and emergency procedures
  • Assist with onboarding, office coordination and general team support activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and service delivery

About you

You are highly organised, proactive and confident working in a fast-paced, service-focused environment. You enjoy being hands-on and take pride in creating a welcoming and well-run environment for others.

You will bring:

  • Experience in administration, accommodation coordination or customer service
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands
  • Understanding of WHS principles and risk awareness
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate level)

Desirable:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar systems
  • Background in facilities, accommodation or healthcare environments

Additional requirements

  • Successful completion of relevant probity checks
  • Immunisation evidence (MMR, Pertussis, Varicella)
  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current driver’s licence
  • Ability to travel domestically and work outside standard hours when required
