The Leukaemia Foundation is seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager to lead our national accommodation services that support patients, carers and families impacted by blood cancer.
This is a 12-month full-time contract and a key leadership role ensuring our accommodation services are safe, high-quality, and deliver a consistently positive experience for those who rely on them. Working hybrid arrangements are available, with the option to work from home up to two days per week.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Facilities and Assets, you will lead a national team responsible for the delivery and continuous improvement of accommodation services.
You’ll provide strong operational leadership, build effective stakeholder relationships, and ensure services are efficient, sustainable, and deeply client‑centred.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a national accommodation services team
- Oversee day-to-day service delivery and ensure a high standard of resident experience
- Drive continuous improvement across operations, processes and service models
- Build strong relationships with health services and key stakeholders
- Use data and insights to inform decisions, reporting and service improvements
- Support financial and resource optimisation in collaboration with leadership
- Ensure compliance with WHS, policy and regulatory requirements
About you
You are a confident leader with experience in complex service environments and a passion for delivering high-quality, people centered services.
You will bring:
- Experience leading operational teams in healthcare, not-for-profit or accommodation services
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and develop teams, fostering a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture, including workforce capability and succession planning
- Ability to drive operational efficiency and enhance service quality
- Ability to use data and insights to inform performance monitoring, reporting and decision‑making
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of WHS, compliance and risk management frameworks

Additional requirements
- Successful completion of relevant probity checks
- Immunisation evidence (MMR, Pertussis, Varicella)
- Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Current driver’s licence
- Ability to travel domestically and work outside standard hours when required
